Punkt
I bought a dumbphone last year.
After reading “You Don’t Need a Smartphone,” written by August Lamm, I've decided to take the plunge. I came across the pro-privacy, humanistic consumer technology company, Punkt, after reading about it in the pamphlet.
Two years ago, I purchased Jomo, the best screen time blocker app. Then quickly subscribed to the premium version. But after using Jomo+ for months, I needed something more extreme.
I planned for the Punkt MP02 phone to be my secondary line.
But it sat on the shelf.
So, last month, I switched SIM cards, making it my main phone line. This is one of the experiments I'm currently running, as well as driving my car less.
I'm one of those people that say, "You can call me. I won't have an endless text conversation with you. I'd rather hear your voice."
I'm seeing how it goes.
